A special event on the presentation of the 2026 World Drug Report ", organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on the occasion of the UN International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking . Each year on 26 June , the international community marks the World Drug Day reaffirming its collective commitment to addressing the world drug problem in all its dimensions . A key feature of this special event is the presentation of the UNODC 2026 World Drug Report, which offers a comprehensive overview of global drug trends and includes three thematic chapters that address urgent challenges. The World Drug Report presents a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in drug markets. It covers production, trafficking, consumption and the related health consequences. The Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) Special Event commemorating the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking will feature the Member States' launch of the 2026 UNODC World Drug Report.
